We are seeking a talented researcher in Mathematical Biology (or a closely related Applied Mathematics discipline) to join our Mathematical Biology group of the School of Mathematics. Current core members of the group include Carmen Molina-Paris, Grant Lythe, Mauro Mobilia and Martin Lopez-Garcia. You will have an excellent research record, an aspiration to obtain external research funding and a passion for delivering first-class inspirational teaching and supervision within a research-intensive university.

As a Lecturer, you will carry out research, teaching and management within the School, Faculty and University and contribute to academic leadership in the field of Applied Mathematics. We are particularly seeking applications from individuals with expertise in one or more areas related to Mathematical Biology, interpreted broadly (e.g. Evolutionary Dynamics, Theoretical Ecology, Biophysics, Immunology). Other research areas within the School of Mathematics are non-linear dynamics, materials science, mathematical physics, integrable systems, inverse problems and industrial applications.
