We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow to work on NIH-funded projects on developing clinical decision tools for infectious diarrhea.

This position, funded by an NIAID R01 award, will be responsible for coordinating the analysis of large clinical trial datasets, including international studies from low-resource settings (GEMS), to derive and validate clinical prediction rules for etiological and prognostic determination. The postdoc will be co-mentored by faculty in Biostatistics, Biomedical Informatics, and Pediatric Infectious Disease. Methods utilized will include statistical modeling, machine learning, and natural language processing.

The successful candidate should have experience with applied statistics and computational methods. Experience in infectious disease and clinical data is beneficial but not essential. Candidates must have a PhD and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
