Vaginal microbiota dynamics (circular viruses and plasmids)
Dr Samuel Alizon and Prof Vincent Foulongne are seeking candidates to fill in a position, with a joint funding between the University and the University Hospital in Montpellier (France).
The project will revolve around the vaginal microbiota, especially the circular viruses and plasmids. Data will original from the PAPCLEAR clinical study, which follows young women longitudinally.
The ideal candidate will have a strong bioinformatics background and experience with analysing NGS data. Skills in basic molecular biology, ecology & evolution, or biostatistics would be a plus.
