To meet its data science goals, CDC is strengthening the data science workforce and advancing information technology infrastructure.
CDC is establishing the Center for Forecasting and Outbreak Analytics (CFA). The functions of CFA are (1) Predict: Generating forecasts and analyses to support outbreak preparedness and response efforts, (2) Inform: Sharing timely, actionable information with the Federal government; STLT leaders, and the public, and (3) Innovate: Supporting research and development to improve outbreak forecasts and analyses. This position is located in the Predict Division.
