This position supports technical projects, study design, development of research methods, data analysis, reporting of results, & software development.
This position will support researchers in the performance of technical projects, design of research studies, development of research methods, analysis and interpretation of data, presentation of research results, software development and proposal preparation. Candidates should be experienced with scientific programming in R, creating R packages, writing reproducible reports, statistical analysis and modeling (e.g. regression analysis, time series analysis, computational statistics).
Examples of past projects include:
Partnering with a faculty member to develop R packages designed to teach graduate students about how infectious diseases spread
Consultation with CEID Working Groups for the development of R packages to test disease forecasting algorithms
Graphical and statistical analysis of the performance for various early warning signals for disease outbreaks
