The Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences Research Institute at Konkuk University is inviting postdoctoral researchers with excellent research capabilities.
Position: Postdoctoral Researcher
Appointment date: After July 1st, 2023 (negotiable)
Invitation field: Infectious disease mathematical/probability/statistical modeling, public health/epidemiology/preventive medicine, optimization, data science, artificial intelligence related fields
Qualification requirements: Domestic and foreign doctoral degree holders or those who are expected to obtain a doctoral degree before the appointment date.
Contract conditions:
• Extension of contract is possible depending on performance after one year
• Annual salary: 45-55 million South Korean Won (Aprox. 34000-42000 USD, including major insurances) depending on research performance or career
• Additional incentives based on research performance and research expenses for academic activities are planned
