The Bharti lab (bhartilab.com) at The Pennsylvania State University, in the department of Biology and the Center for Infectious Disease Dynamics, is recruiting a highly self-motivated Postdoctoral Scholar to conduct research on human health, movement, and infectious diseases with a focus on Hendra virus spillover in Australia. Successful applicants will have experience in spatial analysis using GIS, be skilled in R and Python, and have good team communication skills. Experience in statistical and dynamic modeling a plus, interdisciplinary experience a plus. The position requires a Ph.D. degree in biology, geography, epidemiology, ecology or a related field.
