SACEMA is a national Centre of Excellence that focuses on epidemiological modelling and analysis to improve health in South Africa and across the continent. We are looking for up to 3 postdoctoral fellows to join us this year. Projects are not pre-specified; they will be determined through discussion between selected applicants and SACEMA staff. Requirements: PhD in a relevant field in the last 5 years; excellent verbal and written communication skills (English); ability to contribute to SACEMA's existing research themes (Measuring infection and Disease, Combatting Infections of National Priority, Rapid Response to Emerging Threats); high level of proficiency with scientific computing and/or software development; strong potential to perform innovative independent research.
