RF in vaccine modelling to analyse impact of COVID-19, measles, HPV and other vaccines in low/middle-income countries
We are recruiting a Research Fellow in Vaccine Modelling to work on two projects: (i) developing models and conducting analyses in collaboration with local partners to determine optimal strategies for use of COVID-19 vaccines in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), (ii) using existing models to inform investments in measles, HPV and other vaccines by Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance.
The postholder will work with Prof. Mark Jit and Prof. Anna Vassall. The postholder will join a successful and expanding team of mathematical modellers and health economists, in a supportive, dynamic and fast-moving environment. There will be excellent opportunities to show scientific productivity, including publications, participation in future grant applications and outputs that are crucial to major public health decisions.
While the post is full time and initially funded until 31 August 2022, there is likely to be funding to extend the post beyond this date.
