RF/Asst Prof to model impact and cost-effectiveness of COVID-19 self-testing in LMICs, with partners in Africa
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Research Fellow or Assistant Professor infectious disease economics modeller to work on projects evaluating uptake, impact and developing models and conducting analyses in collaboration with local partners to determine optimal strategies for use of COVID-19 self-testing in low-and middle-income countries (LMICs). The successful applicants will work as part of wider collaborations, including implementers and researchers in 4 African countries, the Centre for Mathematical Modelling of Infectious Diseases (CMMID) and Global Health Economic Centre (GHECO) at LSHTM as well as the International Decision Support Initiative (IDSI) and Clinical Research Department (SCALE). The post is available to start as soon as possible until 03/01/2023, with the possibility of extension subject to continued funding.
