The EPIA research unit (INRAE–VetAgro Sup), based near Lyon, France, is recruiting a three-year research fellow position in spatial epidemiology. Your mission will be to develop new spatial epidemiological approaches to improve the surveillance of animal infectious diseases, with a focus on detecting emerging threats early and identifying the populations in which surveillance should be prioritised, especially during outbreaks. A key component will be the integration of heterogeneous data from multiple surveillance systems. The position is also intended to provide you with the opportunity to demonstrate your ability to define, develop and lead an independent research programme in spatial epidemiology.
