This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding candidate to join our team working on the Wellcome-funded IVOR (Impact of Vaccines on Resistance) project. The postholder will use a unique dataset from a multi-year cluster-randomised vaccine trial in Vietnam to understand the epidemiology of drug resistant pneumococcal carriage in children. The Research Fellow will lead the mathematical modelling of the drug resistance endpoints of the trial. The position offers exceptional opportunities for public health impact and scientific contribution in the priority area of antimicrobial resistance.
