Research fellow / assistant professor modelling the transmission dynamics of visceral leishmaniasis (VL) in space and time

We are looking for somebody to work on mathematical and computational models of visceral leishmaniasis in south Asia. The models will include age-space-time transmission dynamic frameworks with an emphasis on fitting to data and producing results of direct relevance to national and international policy. Models will be both deterministic and stochastic. We are looking for somebody with experience of modelling infectious disease dynamics.

The post is part of CMMID (http://cmmid.lshtm.ac.uk), SPEAK India (https://speakindia.org.in) and the NTD Modelling Consortium (https://www.ntdmodelling.org) so you will join an interdisciplinary network. Developing collaborative relationships with other NTD researchers is essential, as is a commitment to informing policy and interacting with the many stakeholders developing and enacting the control policies.
