Research Data Analyst - Global Health and Population, HSPH

We are seeking a Research Data Analyst in the Department of Global Health and Population at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. This position will work with Professor Nicolas Menzies and be based in our lab which undertakes a range of research using mathematical and statistical modeling to investigate the health impact, costs, and cost-effectiveness of infectious disease treatment and prevention programs in the United States and in international settings. Our work involves close collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Gates Foundation, WHO, and the Global Fund Against AIDS, TB, and Malaria.

The Research Data Analyst will work closely with Dr. Menzies on a multi-year research project aimed at estimating TB risks in the United States and international settings, and examine interventions to better target TB prevention services. They will also work with a team of scientific collaborators to develop computer simulation models of infectious disease epidemiology, primarily TB but also HIV and other infectious diseases. The Research Data Analyst will take primary responsibility for one or more modeling projects and will also contribute to the conduct of other studies undertaken by the research team.
