The New York State Wastewater Surveillance Network seeks a Research Associate to join its CDC Center of Excellence team. The Research Associate will play a crucial role in supporting and advancing projects within the NY NWSS Center of Excellence including forecasting influenza and RSV hospitalizations, interpreting non-detections of pathogens in wastewater, and informing infectious disease surveillance best practices. The Research Associate will work closely with the principal investigator Professor David Larsen and project director Mila Neyra, providing essential technical and administrative support to ensure the success of the project deliverables. We seek a Researcher Associate interested in public health with a strong quantitative background and research experience preferred. We will consider any experience related to wastewater-based epidemiology as a bonus, but not a necessary. The position is based in Syracuse, NY. Master's degree preferable.
