The specific aims of the work to be carried out by the post-holder are to quantify the impact of substandard and falsified antimicrobials on patient outcomes and the emergence and spread of antimicrobial resistance for selected pathogens. This work is part of a large collaborative multidisciplinary project and the post-holder will be expected to work closely with other colleagues working in this project both in Oxford and at other institutions. The post-holder will work with selected data sets and make of use of both statistical models and dynamic mechanistic models representing within- and between-host processes.
