Quantifying the contribution of livestock movements to AMR in East Africa

The contribution of livestock movements to the spread of antimicrobial resistance in East Africa - https://www.findaphd.com/phds/project/funded-phd-the-contribution-of-livestock-movements-to-the-spread-of-antimicrobial-resistance-in-east-africa/?p182841
Broad areas of training will depend on the background of the student. A quantitative ecologist/epidemiologist will develop skills in advanced statistical and network modelling, while an applied statistician/modeller will develop a deep understanding of epidemiology and disease ecology. Either student will develop operational research skills bridging the gap between quantitative modelling and development of viable control strategies.
