The post requires specific modelling and economics expertise as well as significant levels of collaborative and multidisciplinary working (e.g. with policy, clinical and scientific colleagues) across UKHSA and with various national and international organisations.
The post-holder will identify funding opportunities to support ongoing development and innovation of AMR and HCAI modelling and health economics and establish and strengthen collaborative networks with staff in academic institutions.
They will join a dynamic and productive team, experienced in a variety of modelling methodologies as well as in using these to inform public health decision-making. The post represents an excellent opportunity to conduct applied research, closely linked to policy.
