Postdoctoral Research in Mathematical/Computational Biology at
The University of New South Wales, Sydney Australia
A 2-year postdoc position is available in Mark Tanaka's group at UNSW Sydney to start around July/August 2022. The project aims to understand the emergence of new infectious diseases as a function of both microbial evolution and cultural shifts in human populations. It combines the development of new mathematical models with the analysis of epidemiological and anthropological data. This project is funded by the Australian Research Council and will be conducted in collaboration with Jeremy Kendal at Durham University UK.
