Postdoc in Epidemiology and Economics of Agricultural Transitions
We look forward to receiving your application and to welcoming you as part of our team!
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified candidate for a 3-year postdoctoral research position to investigate the epidemiological and economic consequences of changing agricultural landscapes. The project will explore how shifts in land use and the transition toward more business-oriented livestock production systems impact animal health, welfare, and economic outcomes.
Our research environment is collaborative and supportive. Team members regularly assist each other across different projects, and we value both teamwork and independent work. You will have opportunities to contribute individually as well as in interdisciplinary teams, depending on the task and your preferences.
Candidates should have a strong background in one or more of the following areas: epidemiology, environmental science, agricultural economics, health economics, environmental economics, animal science, or veterinary medicine. Solid programming and data analysis skills are essential.
If interested, the candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute to project proposal writing, teaching and the acquisition of research funding (Optional, depending on the candidate’s preference).
