Postdoc in data-driven infectious disease modeling
A postdoctoral position is available in the Bellan lab, which focuses on data-driven modeling of infectious disease dynamics and epidemiological study design. Individuals with a demonstrated interest in infectious disease dynamics and with training in physics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or any other quantitative background are strongly encouraged to apply, as are individuals with training in epidemiology, medicine, public health, disease ecology, microbiology, demography, or sociology.
Research projects will address topical questions in public health. Potential projects may focus on HIV or tuberculosis epidemiology, spatial dynamics of pathogen spread, vaccine efficacy trial study design, integrated care, or other basic and applied topics in infectious disease epidemiology. Interdisciplinary projects that combine implementation science, economic evaluation, and infectious disease epidemiology will be strongly encouraged.
