Post at NCSU in modeling antimicrobial resistance dynamics
A postdoctoral research scholar position on infectious disease epidemiology/modeling is immediately available at Dr. Lanzas lab (North Carolina State University). The successful candidate will join a NIH-funded project in the area of infectious disease epidemiology and modeling of antimicrobial resistance. The project involves the development of graphical probabilistic models to analyze antimicrobial resistance data and agent-based models of multidrug resistant pathogens.The postdoctoral associate shall have a Ph.D. degree in a relevant quantitative discipline (ecology, epidemiology, engineering, applied mathematics, statistics and related fields) and have a deep interest in interdisciplinary collaboration, strong quantitative and programming skills, and good oral and writing skills are expected.
