PhD project on the ecology of antimicrobial resistance and zoonotic diseases
We are seeking applications from potential PhD students with an interest in the ecology of antimicrobial resistance and zoonotic diseases. Come and join a committed, energetic, and growing group of researchers based at the Jockey Club College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences.

Topic: Ecology of antimicrobial resistance and selected zoonoses
Student characteristics:
Graduate in Veterinary Medicine or a related field
Strong interest in the complex epidemiology of antimicrobial resistance and infectious diseases
University or veterinary school rank will be taken into account
Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or more on a scale of 4, or equivalent
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Good interpersonal skills
Lateral thinker
Not at risk of ban from entering the United States or Hong Kong
Prior research experience in infectious disease epidemiology is desirable
Financial support: PhD students in this programme are eligible to apply for scholarship
Duration: 4 years, starting in 2019
