PhD at INRAE on the modelling of microbial ecosystems for animal health management.
We are proposing a PhD at INRAE in Saint-Genès-Champanelle (near Clermont-Ferrand). The PhD student will be in charge of modelling bacterial communities in the udder to identify mastitis management levers in dairy cows. We are looking for candidates with a background in ecology or applied mathematics and an interest in microbial ecology, modelling approaches and health management.
This doctoral contract is funded as part of an ANR project on the management of mastitis by the microbial ecosystem (https://anr.fr/Projet-ANR-21-CE32-0005).
