Postdoc position available in the laboratory of Tony Maurelli at the Emerging Pathogens Institute, University of Florida, to study molecular pathogenesis of Chlamydia and Shigella. Seeking candidates with experience in bacterial genetics or bacterial physiology/biochemistry and molecular biology. However, individuals trained in disease transmission dynamics who are willing to initiate a project in Shigella surveillance or surveillance of sexually transmitted infections, are encouraged to apply.
