Open-Rank, Tenure-Track Position in Epidemiology
The Department of Epidemiology at the University of Michigan, School of Public Health invites applications for one open-rank tenure-track faculty position, with a preference for advanced assistant professors or associate professors. We seek to enhance our existing cross-disciplinary collaborations and build on our departmental strengths in substantive areas of research (for example, cancer, cardiovascular, child health, disease ecology, environmental exposures, infectious and social epidemiology), with particular interest in applicants with a research focus on genetics or mental health. Scholars who conduct global health or translational research connecting epidemiology to public health practice or policy are particularly encouraged to apply.
Our Department of Epidemiology is home to 40 highly interdisciplinary, internationally recognized faculty members whose research encompasses a broad range of epidemiologic disciplines. The Department has large and highly successful training programs at both the masters and doctoral level, and is part of the undergraduate program within the School of Public Health.
