The goal of the project is to develop an agent-based model for studying the transmission of H5N1 avian influenza in high-risk populations. Candidates with a PhD in engineering, applied mathematics, epidemiology, computer science, or a related field are encouraged to apply. Expertise in infectious disease modeling and agent-based modeling is particularly sought. This position will be fully funded for one year, with the possibility of extending depending on the successful obtention of additional funding. The preferred start date is January 2024 or sooner. To apply please email Caroline Wagner and attach a cover letter, CV, and contact for 2 references.
