Medical documentation/information specialist in primary data collection and support

In the Immunisation Unit at the Department for Infectious Disease Epidemiology, our interdisciplinary team deals with the mathematical modelling of vaccinations and vaccine-preventable diseases. The work serves to support the decision-making about the introduction of new vaccinations and vaccination strategies by the National Immunisation Technical Advisory Group (NITAG) in Germany called STIKO.

Your tasks with us
• Support in organising and conducting studies of primary data collections (e.g. on disease costs or quality of life)
• Creating, validating and maintaining of databases as well as preparing datasets or study data for use in mathematical models and statistical analyses
• Participating in the analysis and preparing data and study results for presentation to the STIKO or STIKO working groups and for publications
• Supporting the implementation and monitoring of third-party funded projects
• Communicating with internal and external project partners

Your profile
• Completed degree (Bachelor) in the field of medical documentation or similar OR completed vocational training as a medical documentarian or similar, or equivalent skills based on professional experience
• Experience in project planning, organisation, documentation and quality assurance of studies of primary data collections (e.g. elicitations and surveys; online, by telephone or on site)
• Experience in data management and analysis (e.g. R, STATA or SQL)
• Language skills (CEFR level): German at least B2
