The post holder’s primary role will be to provide dengue modelling technical support across numerous projects within the Centre for Mathematical Modelling of Infectious Diseases. The post holder will use statistical and mathematical modelling methods to assess the impact of environmental and socioeconomic variables on the spatiotemporal distribution of dengue. They will also play a key role in supporting the development of a dengue early warning system for Vietnam. Available for 10 months in the first instance with possibility for extension (funding permitting) thereafter.
