Infectious disease & health economic modeller (vaccination programmes) in the Modelling & Economics Unit, Public Health England

We are looking for someone to lead cost-effectiveness analyses of a range of vaccination programmes, using transmission dynamic and other decision analytic models. Applicants need experience in conducting cost-effectiveness and epidemiological analyses using a range of approaches, including dynamic models involving infectious disease transmission. They should have a PhD in a relevant subject (or a relevant MSc and equivalent research experience to a PhD, including relevant academic publications). Key responsibilities include conducting and managing research in vaccine economics, publishing papers in leading journals, presenting results to key decision-makers and collaborating with academic partners.

Most members of the Modelling & Economics Unit have honorary positions with leading universities (mostly LSHTM and Imperial College); similar arrangements can be explored with the post holder.
