ISGlobal is seeking an outstanding and highly motivated pre-doctoral fellow in health economics with high-level capacity in econometrics and with knowledge of economic evaluation techniques. The candidate will enrol in the Doctoral program of International Health of the faculty of Medicine of the University of Barcelona, a 3 years PhD program. The candidate will be involved in different projects, all focused on infectious diseases, including neglected diseases and covid19, with a focus on low- and middle-income countries. Projects have different aims spanning from the identification and evaluation of the impact of infectious diseases on socio-economic factors to the elicitation of preferences for health interventions to the cost-effectiveness analysis of health interventions. The projects will include dealing with large data sets. All projects are international, mostly European funded and all highly relevant both in terms of their content and of the constituting consortia. The candidate will work in strict collaboration with the members of the ISGlobal health economics group and with the projects’ partners.
