Health and economic impact modelling of cervical cancer elimination strategies at the global and national levels
In 2018, the Director-General of the World Health Organization announced a global call to action towards cervical cancer elimination as a public health problem. The 2019 working draft of the global strategy has proposed 90-70-90 targets towards achieving 90% coverage of HPV vaccination, 70% coverage of screening and 90% treatment of cervical cancer. This project will develop statistical and mathematical models to infer the health and economic impact of different cervical cancer prevention and control strategies and assist decision-making towards cervical cancer elimination at the global and national levels.
