Farm system optimisation modelling covering antimicrobial resistance.

We are looking for a creative quantitative modeller to provide systems analysis focusing on the use of antibiotics (and the development of antibiotic resistance) from cattle feedlot systems in Argentina. Elements of the work will include the economics of production and the interface between animal, human and environmental (or One Health) resistance outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to apply modelling and artificial intelligence techniques to explore a complex challenge of AMR arising in complex food supply chains. The candidate will be working closely with researchers in Edinburgh, Exeter and Argentina.
