Experienced public health researcher working on global burden of foodborne and zoonotic disease

The Global Burden of Animal Diseases (GBADs) aims to set up a systematic process to determine the burden of animal diseases on the health and wellbeing of people. Within GBADs, the human health theme aims to strengthen estimates of the global burden of foodborne and zoonotic diseases.

You will be responsible for conducting systematic reviews on priority foodborne and zoonotic pathogens, with a view on the collection of data necessary to perform burden of disease assessments. You will collaborate closely with international burden of disease initiatives, such as the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation Global Burden of Disease study, in order to align the data collections to their structures and needs. You will present your work at international meetings, and participate to networking events and steering committee meetings.
