This PhD position in biostatistics belongs to a new research project hosted at the Institute of Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany. The aim of this project is to extend these statistical modelling frameworks and provide open-source (R) implementations of all methodological developments.

The initial contract will be for 2.5 years and can be extended afterwards.
After the first year, the position involves a small amount of teaching medical students (the course is held in German).
