Come help predict the future! (of dengue epidemics in Vietnam) with a new 3 year post @LSHTM starting this summer
This UK space agency funded post involves developing and testing a dengue forecasting system in close collaboration with LSHTM, the MET office, HR Wallingford and the Vietnamese ministry of health. The post-holder will play a key technical role in designing, fitting and evaluating a new statistical dengue early warning system that gives seasonal (6-8 months) and short-term (2-4 weeks) predictions for all 58 provinces in Vietnam. Forecasting experience and ideally with infectious diseases highly desirable.
The post holder will be under the supervision of Dr. Oliver Brady and Dr. Rachel Lowe and based in London among a vibrant, growing and diverse group of mathematical modellers at LSHTM with numerous opportunities to contribute to other project across the infectious disease spectrum.
