The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to ongoing CGE research efforts and eventually form independent research focused on topics that are relevant to CGE research. Desirable skills include extensive experience in a variety of next generation sequencing (NGS) platforms, detailed analysis of NGS data, and combining sequence data with electronic health record/epidemiologic data to make inferences about pathogen transmission. There are ample opportunities for collaboration across the University and for a joint academic appointment in the Graduate School of Public Health.
