These new academic appointments will build upon the Centre’s existing strengths to develop and expand our world-leading translational research programme.

Duties and responsibilities
The postholders will play a key role in the development of research programmes in one or more of the MRC Centre’s priority research areas:
Preparedness and Response to Emerging Threats
Global Health Analytics
Vaccines and Therapeutics
Pathogen Genomic Epidemiology

The posts involve both research and teaching responsibilities. The postholder will play a key role in the development of world-leading research programmes in their area of expertise. The postholder will be expected to contribute towards the Centre’s wider activities, encompassing a team science approach to addressing global health priorities.
