2yr RF position to investigate the value of future non-typhoidal Salmonellae vaccines globally, including productivity, AMR, equity.

The Wellcome Trust has funded LSHTM in collaboration with the International Vaccine Institute and the World Health Organization to develop a full value of vaccines assessment for non-typhoidal Salmonellae vaccines. The postholder will bring forward an innovative programme of work to investigate the broader societal and economic benefits of these vaccines, such as future productivity, antimicrobial resistance reductions, improved equity and social protection.

The postholder will work with Prof. Mark Jit and will be part of the Modelling and Economic Evaluation of Vaccines (MEEV) group, a highly successful and supportive group with a long history of working with a range of countries around the world on generating evidence to support vaccination policy. The postholder will also have the opportunity to affiliate with relevant centres at LSHTM (including the Vaccine Centre, Centre for Mathematical Modelling of Infectious Diseases and Global Health Economics Centre).

The post is full time, 35 hours per week (1.0 FTE) and is available immediately, fixed-term for 24 months.
