A 2-year postdoc position is available in microbial genomic epidemiology available at the new Quadram Institute in Norwich UK, investigating the drivers and dynamics of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in Salmonella in Brazilian pig and poultry production. The project provides an incredible opportunity to address key questions in this field, such as the relative importance of horizontal gene transfer and the impact of antimicrobial use on AMR, and the position includes working with fantastic collaborators at the University of São Paulo.
