2 x 3-year postdoc positions avaliable on modelling sleeping sickness for an exciting policy-facing project at Warwick Uni @HATMEPP @drKatRock
Two 3-year post-doc positions in epidemiological modelling are available at the University of Warwick. This is a fantastic opportunity for these post-docs to join a vibrant group (Zeeman Institute: SBIDER) and to undertake some exciting and challenging research that could really shape policy against the devastating disease, African sleeping sickness, and help the push to elimination.
We are looking for enthusiastic researchers who are keen to use a range of skills including collaboration with field researchers and in-country partners, model fitting and analysis, and communication of modelling results to policy makers. The postdocs will work as part of the human African trypanosomiasis modelling and economic predictions for policy (HAT MEPP) team, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and led by Dr Kat Rock at the University of Warwick. Two other post-doc positions in health economics will be available on this project, one at the Warwick Medical School and one at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute.
Applicants with expertise in all areas of infectious disease modelling are encouraged to apply.
