11 fully-funded PhD studentships are available in health analytics and modelling. All are joint between LSHTM, Imperial College and the UKHSA.

Eleven PhD studentships in Health Analytics, Epidemic Modelling and Health Economics are available. All of the studentships are joint between the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Imperial College and the UKHSA, with supervisors drawn from each institution. The studentships will start in September 2025 and come with 3.5 years of funding. The awards will cover a tax-free stipend of £22,086 per year, tuition fees at home rates and research and travel expenses. Potential students must be eligible for home (UK) fees.

Although each PhD will be jointly supervised by staff from each of the three institutions, they will all be based in a primary institution (where the primary supervisor is employed): there are 6 PhDs available through LSHTM; and 5 available through Imperial College. All three institutions are highly multi-disciplinary and employ epidemiologists, data scientists, mathematical modellers, health economists and public health practitioners.

The exact focus of each PhD will be developed with the successful candidate and will depend on their interests and prior expertise.
