1 post-doctoral position in mathematical modelling of Covid-19 transmission in healthcare settings to work in Paris - starting as soon as possible!
One 18-month post-doctoral positions in mathematical modelling of infectious diseases is available to work at Institut Pasteur and Conservatoire national des arts et métiers in Paris.
The post-holder will work on the mathematical modelling of Covid-19 transmission in healthcare settings. He/she will develop models, analyse hospital data and run simulation studies to evaluate the impact of control measures.
Applicants should have a PhD in infectious disease epidemiology, mathematical modelling or computational biology. They should have a strong background in computer programming, modelling and statistics, and excellent communication skills. Experience in infectious disease epidemiology or healthcare-related research would be an advantage.
The appointments will start as soon as possible.
