The postholder will work with colleagues at LSHTM and across Europe to help improve pandemic planning and response. The successful candidate will be tasked with identifying pathogens with pandemic potential and reviewing the epidemiology of these threats. They will use the findings of this exercise to develop a decision tool to aid policy-makers in determining appropriate intervention measures. This is a great opportunity to work within a highly successful modelling group within LSHTM and with colleagues across Europe; to learn and apply epidemiological and decision-science methods to help countries better prepare for future epidemic risks.
