The Department of Preventive Medicine at the Konyang University College of Medicine, Daejeon, South Korea, is seeking an independent and motivated postdoctoral research associate to work with Dr. Sukhyun Ryu.

This is a full-time research position focused on infectious disease epidemiology including influenza, COVID-19, and other vector-borne diseases. This position will provide the opportunity to contribute to the work using skills in study design and complex data analyses using surveillance data or clinical data.

The main tasks will support epidemiological research projects to investigate the transmission dynamics of infectious diseases in South Korea.

The successful candidate will support the statistical analysis of surveillance data, write manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals, and develop computational modeling frameworks for the transmission of infectious diseases using R.
