Applications are invited for a post of Research Associate to work on the epidemiology of hand, foot and mouth disease in Southeast Asia in collaboration with groups in Malaysia and China. You will be expected to produce high-quality research, submit publications to peer-reviewed journals, attend and present at conferences, and attend meetings with internal and external collaborators.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• To conduct statistical, mathematical and/or epidemiological analysis of hand, foot and mouth disease surveillance data
• To pursue research on infectious disease epidemiology and inference from data
• To interact with other members of the research group and with our national and international collaborators

Essential Requirements:
You should hold, or be close to obtaining, a PhD in infectious disease epidemiology, evolution or related quantitative discipline with strong mathematical and/or statistical skills and an interest in infectious disease epidemiology.
