The postholder will research, implement and report statistical and mathematical analyses of epidemiological data at the UKHSA. A strong background in data processing and analysis – using programming languages such as R or Python – will be essential to explore large existing datasets on COVID-19, Mpox, and other public health concerns. The role will require an agile and inquisitive approach to work, with the candidate pursuing their research independently while working in collaboration with an experienced team of quantitative epidemiologists and data scientists.
