Data Scientist position for 2 years, up to E-14, develop outbreak detection tools (R, R-shiny) for public health institutes in the EU

Within the EU project "United4Surveillance" we are cooperating with other EU Public Health institutes to develop tools for infectious disease outbreak detection. These tools will be piloted and evaluated together with PH institutes of several EU member states. The ideal candidate should have some background in statistics or data science and experience with scientific programming, ideally R and R-Shiny. Position is for 2 years and compensation is up to TVÖD E-14 based on experience.
