The postdoctoral researcher will develop data-driven mathematical models and associated computing code for modelling avian influenza outbreaks in Great Britain. They will use the models to test a range of intervention strategies, and collaborate with members of the project team based in Oxford and elsewhere (at the University of Warwick and the UK government’s Animal and Plant Health Agency). This project provides the opportunity for conducting research with substantial positive real-world impact.
