Mathematical and statistical modeller on tick-borne and zoonotic diseases

We are looking for a mathematical and statistical modeller to work on tick-borne and zoonotic diseases. Primarily, the post-holder will be responsible for developing a mathematical model for Lyme borreliosis and Tick-borne encephalitis transmission dynamics, and fit to a series of eco-epidemiological data in order to estimate the transmission parameters, and assess trends in disease incidence under different prevention and meteorological scenarios. Contract extension will be possible to address further zoonotic diseases modelling.
